Since it's founding in 1994, New Song has welcomed and nurtured the gifts of many members of the congregation who felt a call to be preachers. Currently, about a dozen lay members of New Song each deliver two or three sermons a year.

We're proud of this tradition, and continue to provide training and mentoring for any member who wishes to preach.  To hear the Word of God articulated through so many voices and perspectives is one of the distinctive blessings of our church.

Through this page, you can access a broad sampling of recent sermons, both from lay members and from our clergy. We hope this will help you to understand why this part of our tradition is such a proud one.
